H. Pearce Company - Relocation Division

Yale Field is the home of Yale University and New Haven Ravens baseball. The historic ballpark was built in 1927 and has been host to such baseball greats as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Ted Williams. The field has its own version of the Green Monster. The center field wall measures four hundred feet from home plate and twenty-six feet high. Many players claim to have hit a ball over that wall, including Ruth, but only three players are known to have actually done it.
