| Harry Logan Page,
Jr. purchased Butler's Hardware and the building in
1939, from Mr. Butler. The building was once the Guilford's
general store until Mr. Butler purchased the building
and moved his hardware business there. Page Hardware
& Appliance has expanded over the years, on one
side it took over a bank building and the other side
a former restaurant. Page's sells hardware, housewares
and appliances as well as offering many other services.
Throughout the years Page Hardware & Appliance
has maintained the character of the building, representing
the history of the town of Guilford.
The Page family credo
is to be fair, honest and to treat people the way
the Page family would like to be treated. |
